Jesus longs to awaken his bride and get her engaged in the harvest!
I want you to imagine Jesus is holding out his two hands. In one hand, Jesus is holding his bride, the church, and he dearly loves her. In the other hand, he is holding the harvest, non-Christians. Jesus is the Lord of the harvest, and he came to seek and save the lost. But as Jesus looks at his bride, she seems a little drowsy, a bit sleepy even. Because of this, Jesus longs to awaken his bride the church, and get her engaged in the harvest, in what we believe will be the last great harvest before Jesus returns. I don’t know about you, but I find that image exciting! This is the inspiration for our ministry, AWAKEN & ENGAGE.
Our mission is to help people grasp and share the Gospel-love of Jesus.
We are a disciple-making ministry that’s one-part discipleship and one-part evangelism.
First, we want to see the Church filled with awe and gratitude over Jesus’ love for us! We believe that happens best through a rediscovering of the Gospel. When Christians gain a fresh grasp of all that Jesus accomplished for us, we are compelled to share His love with others.
So, we aim to serve local churches, Christian organizations and groups by offering two Gospel training workshops: Awaken and Engage. We want to equip your community with a quality explanation of the Gospel for two reasons: first, so that you can more fully experience Jesus’ love personally, and second, so that you can more confidently share the Gospel with others.
Our prayer is for God to include us in the work of spreading the Gospel in cities throughout this region of the country.
